How to increase the battery life of a Compaq Laptop.?
I have a Compaq Presario CQ 60 209TU a 16 inch laptop and it gives around 3 hrs of battery life. I saw Macs(8 hrs) and other laptops such as dell(4-5 hrs) having better baterry life. Can I increase my battery efficiency or change my battery to a more powerful one(9 cell battery).How much would it cost??If possible please provide me the links.

There’s a huge difference between the cheapest and smallest laptop batteries and the more powerful ones. They usually run $ 60 to $ 150 and give about 500 charge/discharge cycles before losing capacity. You get what you pay for, and original manufactured batteries are often best.
Your best bet is to use them only when you can’t plug in so that they last. Otherwise, the lithium just breaks down a bit each time you go through a complete cycle.
